“The 8th Research Meeting of Cryogenic Research Center” was held at Koshiba Hall on Feb. 23. 2017 (Thu.). There were 12 oral presentations and 52 poster presentations from graduate schools of Engineering, Science, Agricultural and Life Science, Pharmaceutical Science and Cryogenic Research Center. In this research meeting, participants had a chance to listen the latest results from various research fields. After the scientific sessions, Prof. Koji Kishio at Department of Applied Chemistry, School of Engineering (Director of Cryogenic Research Center from 2003 to 2004) gave us a Special Lecture titled "Cryogenic Research Center and Dept. of Superconductivity".
The best oral presentation was awarded to Takuro Sato (DC3, Kanoda Lab., Department of Applied Physics, Graduate School of Engineering). The best poster presentations were awarded to Masaru Onga (MC2, Iwasa Lab., Dept. of Applied Physics, Graduate School of Engineering) and Chie Ohde (MC2, Nishihara Lab., Dept. of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science).
