“The 10th Research Meeting of Cryogenic Research Center” was held at Koshiba Hall on Feb. 22. 2017 (Fri.). There were 10 oral presentations and 61 poster presentations from graduate schools of Engineering, Science, Agricultural and Life Science, Pharmaceutical Science and Cryogenic Research Center. In the meeting, active discussion was made by researchers from various field. After the scientific sessions, Prof. Seigo Tarucha at Department of Applied Physics, School of Engineering (Director of Cryogenic Research Center from 2015 to 2017) gave us a Special Lecture titled "Quantum state control of nanostructure and application to Quantum computing".
The best oral presentation was awarded to Yoshihiro Tachihara (MC2, Cabral Lab., Department of Bioengineering, Graduate School of Engineering). The best poster presentations were awarded to Saki Takiguchi (BC4, Food Biotechnol & Struct Biol Lab., Dept. of Biotechnology, Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences), Aki Kitaori (MC1, Tokura and Kanazawa Lab., Dept. of Applied Physics, Graduate School of Engineering) and Shogo Iguchi (DC1, Takahashi Lab., Dept. of Applied Physics, Graduate School of Engineering).
